TXGA floating board to board connector, more suitable for interconnect solutions of high-precision PCB boards

Terminal devices are increasingly evolving towards miniaturization, which has led to a compact layout of internal PCB boards. However, during the installation process of traditional rigid board to board connectors on PCB boards, they are highly susceptible to manufacturing tolerances, which not only increases the risk of installation failures but may also pose hidden dangers for subsequent use. TXGA floating board to board connectors can provide a more reliable interconnect solution for high-precision PCB boards.

In the automated assembly of PCBs, TXGA floating board to board connectors can be designed with a floating structure to resolve positional deviations during PCB installation and ensure that the connectors are compatible with the PCB board.

On the other hand, in traditional rigid board to board connectors, even if they appear to be successfully inserted during the installation phase, small misalignments can still generate sustained stress inside the connector. As the usage time increases, these stresses will gradually propagate to the fragile connector solder joints, ultimately leading to equipment failure. In contrast, the floating board exhibits stress absorption capability through the built-in spring mechanism of the board connector, effectively alleviating stress concentration during installation, thereby avoiding the risk of solder joint breakage and ensuring long-term stability and reliability of the connection.
