When using heavy-duty connectors, there are four points that require the operator's attention.

Heavy-duty connectors are mainly used in many fields such as industrial automation, equipment manufacturing, industrial system buildings, and information and control technology, and are therefore called "industrial connectors". The international advancement of heavy-duty connectors in terms of structural design and material use makes the connectors outstanding in terms of electrical performance. The reliability of the electrical connection system is beyond the reach of traditional connection methods.

When using heavy-duty connectors, there are four points that require the operator's attention

1) When the power connector is terminated, it shall be terminated and inspected strictly in accordance with the corresponding termination specifications or requirements, and shall be terminated according to the corresponding contact number. The maximum thickness of the insulation layer between the selected cables and wires should match the distance between the contacts, and the cable cores should match the terminals of the contacts. When spanning and paralleling between the contacts, the stranded multi-strand cores should be considered. Diameter, and it is forbidden to cross and parallel the lines between the crimping holes of the contacts;

2) When soldering, choose an electric soldering iron of the corresponding power according to the diameter of the bare wire. The soldering time of each contact is generally no more than 5s, and care should be taken not to allow the flux to penetrate into the insulator, so as not to reduce the insulation resistance of the product;

3) When cleaning the power connector (including the cleaning of the contacts), you can use a silk cloth dipped in absolute ethanol and dry it for use. Do not allow the use of chemical solvents such as acetone that have harmful effects on the power connector;

4) When the power connector is in the non-mating state, the matching protective cover must be added or other dust-proof measures must be taken.
