Twisted wire pin connectors are generally a type of connector that uses twisted wire pins as contacts. The structure of this type of pin is made up of two layers of copper alloy wire twisted in reverse spiral. The inner layer usually consists of 3 copper alloy wires, while the outer layer consists of 7 or 9 wires. The two ends of these copper alloy wires are welded together and integrated into one, with an overall shape resembling a drum with a handle.
The part of the pin near the needle is a bulging and hollow state. When the pin is inserted into the rigid socket, the bulge will be subjected to positive pressure, resulting in elastic deformation. Simultaneously extending along the spiral direction towards the axial direction, multiple points of contact can be formed between the rigid socket, thereby achieving reliable electrical contact effect.
The unique structure of twisted wire pins endows them with excellent resistance to vibration and impact.
